A volumetric concrete mixer is essentially a mobile batching plant on wheels. Our lorries carry the raw materials – sand, gravel, cement and water – in separate compartments. The concrete is then mixed fresh on your site to your exact specifications. Our volumetric lorries can carry up to 10 cubic metres of concrete, and because we mix as we go, you only ever pay for what you actually use.
One of the best features of volumetric concrete is the flexibility it offers. You can request two different concrete mixes from the same lorry at different water consistencies. For example, you might need a wet footing mix first, followed by a dry kerb mix to back up your edgings – all from one delivery.

Volumetric concrete is produced on site using a mobile mixing lorry. The lorry carries the raw ingredients – cement, sand, gravel and water – in separate compartments. These are combined in precise quantities as the concrete is dispensed, meaning you get freshly mixed concrete made exactly when you need it.
How is volumetric concrete different from ready mix?
With volumetric concrete, the mixing happens on your site, giving you greater flexibility over quantities and mix specifications. You can also request changes to the mix during the pour if needed, and you only pay for what you use.
Can I get different concrete mixes from one delivery?
