We are a family run business based in Hemel Hempstead, established in 2002, delivering ready mixed concrete to DIY and trade customers.
We pride ourselves on having helpful and friendly staff, and always aim to leave your site clean and tidy, which you don’t always find in our industry. We can offer small lorries (the same size as a 6 yard skip lorry), these lorries can carry up to 4.5m. Also 8m size lorries for larger amounts and when you have better access. Now we also can offer volumetric mix onsite lorries, or for when you have bad access we can offer our concrete line pumps.
Our concrete pumps are becoming increasingly popular as they can be the answer to bad access and also save on labour costs and speed up progress of the project. We have line pumps (that run pipes along the ground) or our 24m boom pump (this has a crane arm that can be elevated). We can deliver a wide variety of concrete mixes from a shed base to water proof concrete. The process that they use is to make you aware of how much concrete is in the line that they have laid out, we make sure that we stop pumping when there is just enough room left in your site to take what is left in our hopper and the pipeline, when the hopper is almost empty, the operator will blow a ball by air pressure through the pipeline into your site so as to push all of the concrete into the site after this there will be about 2 wheelbarrows left in the hopper that can be wheeled into your site so there is almost no waste or mess at all.
