Commercial concrete typically uses stronger mixes with higher load-bearing capacity to support larger structures and heavier traffic. Commercial projects often require grades like C30, C35 or C40, whilst domestic projects usually need C20 or C25. We can advise on the right grade for your specific application.
How does volumetric concrete delivery work?
Our volumetric trucks carry all the raw materials separately: cement, aggregates and water. When we arrive at your site, we mix the concrete fresh to your exact specifications. This means you get the precise amount and strength you need, with no waste.
How long does commercial concrete take to cure?
Concrete typically takes 24 to 48 hours to harden enough for light foot traffic. However, it takes around 28 days to reach full strength. For commercial projects, your contractor will advise when the concrete is ready for the next stage of construction.
Can you deliver concrete to sites with difficult access?
Yes. We have smaller lorries that can access tight spaces, and our concrete pumps can run pipes through buildings, up alleyways or over obstacles. For very difficult access, our boom pump can reach over and around obstructions that other methods cannot manage.
What concrete grade do I need for my commercial project?
The right grade depends on what you are building. Foundations for commercial buildings typically need C25 to C35, whilst heavy-duty industrial floors may require C40. External areas with vehicle traffic often use Pav1 or Pav2 mixes for frost resistance. Call us to discuss your project and we will recommend the best mix.
